The Cape Backdraft Damper is silent, produces no metal clanging sounds, tested to UL723 standards and can be installed in horizontal or vertical ductwork.

Bathroom Exhaust ducts (stops the clanging sound during storms and cold air from coming in)
Kitchen exhaust and or range Hoods, individual or trunk. (Annual cleaning/replacement recommended)
